Concrete base and kennel block, Newport

In this project, we created a concrete base and a kennel block for a local business. This project had to be done with great care and attention to detail because it needed to be able to hold animals safely without them being able to escape.

The concrete base that was needed for the kennel block on the project is 7m by 4m which meant that we were going to need to dig out the old debris and lay down the concrete into this are before the kennels are made.

Due to some restrictions on this site, our team could only use a mini digger. This means that the contract would take a bit longer as usual because we can’t work as quickly with a smaller digger.

We laid the concrete base first and when it was dry then erected the kennels, this project took our team 2 weeks to built perfectly. We paid close attention to the details on this project because we had to make sure that it would all be secure enough to keep animals in.
